Link to Modesty video Part 1:

When it comes to modesty, it's always stressed that Christian women should embrace it. However, the subject that isn't talked about as often is what clothes are considered modest. Can Christians wear bikinis? How about yoga pants? Are tight clothes really that big of a deal? In this video, I'm going to give a few examples of what clothes Christian women should avoid and why it's a problem.

That’s right sis. Absolutely not, unless your leggings cover your behind!! I only wear 100% fabrics as scripture says we should but have yet to find any leggings like that so guess it means I don’t need to wear them anyway. We need to be modest. And anything with the word yoga I run from anyway!! They have labels that actually say “makes your butt look good”?!? wow!! I haven’t wore pants in years so I missed that. This world, getting worse and worse, bad influences EVERYWHERE satan is truly at work!!

Amen. Yes, there are some very tight pants out there. I wear them per my view on Deutoronomy 22:5 , but many pants now look like leggings. I have to check the style to make sure it doesn’t show my shape.

Ironically, you’re the second person to mention that leggings are suitable only when it covers the rear. It didn’t even cross my mind until someone else brought it to my attention. But it makes sense. And I don’t blame you about staying from things yoga-related. People wanna say it’s the greatest way to relax and they don’t realize what yoga’s about. Find peace in Christ! Trust me sis, I was just as shocked as you are when I saw the “makes your butt look good” label. I would NEVER wear something like that! This world we live in is definitely getting worse as time goes on and we have to continue to cling to Christ. Can’t let the enemy win! Thanks for stopping by and always supporting sis! Much love and be blessed!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I know right? I don’t why someone would wear something that short in the first place. That’s good that you do the bend test too….great minds think alike 🙂 Thanks for watching sis. Glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate your ongoing support!

Ushers being told let them ALL in (the backslider, demons, tricksters, believer who visiting) Bible does not say…Titus 2:3-5 is good enough, right?!
Call the church and ask about the dress code.
Your employer handbook states, so church has “no order”?
Females are natural “boundary testers”, playing dressing up how -I-feel & “fence walkers”.

    Conclusion:
    It’s females nature.
    Females know females psyche.
Titus 2:3-5 is lost amongst females…they scared to check them…just laugh it off…gossip.
She will stunt on all females contenders regardless of age.
She does all this comparison & competing for her ranking amongst other females peers and season women. It’s for Males secondly not firstly.

Great video as always sis I totally agreed on everything you said in this video it was on point as always and makes a whole lot of sense I definitely try to dress as decent as possible and cover up as much as I can.

Hello Dionne! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your kind feedback on some of my videos. I truly appreciate it! Great video on this and I like to say as a Christian man and to be honest with you I have seen women, teenage girls or tweens wear clothes are making men lust and I am guilty of this and and same with men to just want to share this and again great video

    1. UniquelyAshante's Corner

      Thanks for clarifying.

For your first question, in reference to bringing up this subject in your church so they can discuss it, I suggest talking one on one with your pastor. Tell him the same thing you told me about how you noticed many churches don’t discuss it and how young people are constantly influenced by their peers and the media, which says “sex sells.” Depending on how your pastor responds, you’ll have to make the decision of whether or not you should attend a different church.

Now for your second question, about bringing this up as a youth leader, there are many approaches to this and I can’t tell you verbatim what to say. You have to find the words to say. However, here are some key points to keep in mind:

      1. Lead by example. You want to make sure that you’re showing the youth what modesty looks like in how you dress and carry yourself. Make sure when you’re talking to them, you’re not in flashy or revealing attire.

      2. Emphasize how both men and women have the responsibility of not being stumbling blocks in one’s path to Christ. Tell them that by being cautious of how you present yourself it shows honor to God by helping your brethren (which is talked about a lot in the Bible).

      3. Emphasize that it’s not the clothes that make a person, but how they carry themselves.

      4. Explain that modesty isn’t about dressing”boring” (as many young people associate it with). It’s about being humble, not acting they’re “holier than thou,” not acting like they’re better than someone in the way they talk and dress.

I hope this helps to answer your question. If you need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out again! God bless you and enjoy your weekend!

  5. The Little Minimalists

My cousin and I were having a discussion about these matters. He was observing that as fashions change, what becomes shocking changes too. Tight jeans used to be scandalous a few years ago, and now they don’t bother men at all. Interesting how he as the Dad makes similar rules for his daughters as I do as the Mom, but for different reasons. Thanks for another great video.

    1. UniquelyAshante's Corner

There are still many men that are aroused by tight clothing. Clothing continues to evolve over the years…but no matter what’s trending, it’s important to make sure the attention is not on our bodies. The attention should be on the heart and mind we carry! ? Thanks for tuning in!

  6. Peter Smith

As a Christina man, the only clothing that women wear which turns me on are mini-skirts (AKA short-skirts), short-shorts, low-cut tops, and bikinis. I’ve seen plenty of Christian women wearing short-shorts, leggings, spaghetti-strap tops, and skinny jeans in church especially during the summer months. Only those wearing short-shorts got my attention and gave me sexual thoughts due to the amount of skin being exposed.

  7. Linda Easley

Bikini , no . Leggings / yoga pants : nothing wrong if you wear tops that are long enough to cover your butt and privates . I wear yoga pants but ALWAYS make sure a long top goes on with them

As a woman, I don’t care what other women wear, I’m not gay. Men on the other hand, will be attracted to you regardless of what you’re wearing or not wearing, it’s their own demon they need to fight.

    1. Luke Gawz

? There is a difference in HOW men are attracted. Sexually stimulated? Or simply seeing a women’s elegance and beauty. Don’t think just because he sinned because of your attire that you won’t be held accountable. It’s self centered to simply pawn it off as men’s problem.

    2. UniquelyAshante's Corner

Yes, men will be attracted either way. I talk about this a little bit in the first video of this series (it’s a three-part series). If you would like to, you can take a look at that video and the last video in this series.
